My Hypnobirthing Story

I'll try to keep this short! I've uploaded a video to YouTube sharing my whole birth story if you've got 30 minutes to kill! 😂

My husband and I did a hypnobirthing course before we had our daughter and it ignited something within us!

We learnt about the huge impact that the connection between mind and body could have on the way that her birth would go, which hormones are beneficial and much much more!

From there we set off on a mission to learn as much as we could about everything birth related!

Not only did I understand how I could prepare myself, but my husband also set off on his own quest to ensure that he did a cracking job as "Keeper of the Cave" and as a result of all of his research he was effectively my midwife on the day!

Making sure that birth partners are involved is really important to me as they are such a crucial part of the puzzle yet they seem to get left out sometimes!!

My daughters birth was a really positive experience (even with some complications) and as well as the breathing techniques that my wonderful husband coached me through...we have the mindset created as a result of our educational hypnobirthing journey to thank for our calm, relaxed birth!

I truly believe that this wonderful experience shouldn't be one that is surrounded by fear and apprehension and feel that it's important that every family knows this information in advance of birth to make it as enjoyable as possible!

That leads me to now, my new hypnobirthing business and my mission to share this information far and wide! ❤️
